Busy weekend in pa for the oberdorf wedding. The animals were in two places and it was not the best weekend for them. I took pictures of the flight into salt lake city and then back out to Portland. The pools of water from what they looked like we're bright blue and bright pink.
Dallas had some stomach problems and goon did as well so this weekend was rough for them.
We slept in the tents after the wedding. And that is mount hood in the pictures we were so close!
So I found out that the great salt lake is the largest body of salt water in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most saline inland bodies of water in the world. It is 10 times more salty Han the ocean because it does not have an outlet but instead evaporates which means the size of the lake changes vastly. The land around it is salt land, marsh, and sand. The lake is the bright pink color in parts from the microbes living there.
