Long days

Long days of work with the kids means long days at home for the animals. I forgot to get more wet food and so yesterday Catherine didn't have food to give them during their lunch break with her and Dallas was more than annoyed. She had to drag him outside and she reported he ha e ber the evil eye when she just gave him a treat after the walk he didn't want to go on. We went to the dog park last night and are here again and Dallas tried ao hard to play last night but there weren't any bigger dogs here. Tonight there are a bunch so let's hope for a playmate to tire him out.
Tomorrow both have a vet visit for rabies shots so let's hope it goes well with both being in the room together.

Dog park afternoon

Dallas played with all kinds of dogs at the park tonight. He was determined to have fun and found some friends to play with.

Busy weekend

As usual the weekend was busy and so not so great for the animals. Goon bug has not gone to the bathroom anywhere but her litter box this weekend thus far which is a positive since she was so set on telling me that she didn't appreciate all of my traveling this month. The pet sitter report for Saturday was that goon was all over her and so lovely and sweet and Dallas could Care less that she was there and wouldn't get out of bed haha. So she made him walk anyway via my instructions and then when I got home exhausted he pretended like he hadn't been out all day! Stinker!! Tomorrow and Tuesday are back to the little kids for 10 hour days and so the sitter will be back to take Dallas out and feed the animals again so we wjll see if Dallas still gives the cold shoulder.

We went back to the big dog park with suka and Dallas to have more water fun. They had a really good day!

Fairly boring day today for all.

It's a dog day

Long day yesterday watching the kids and then a meeting with the event job.
I was met at the door by a little Carson in his pirate costume and later he was joined by his kindergarten brother in his ninja costume who walked around the yard and house shooting his suction cup arrows.
Today I picked up Bella and took the dogs to the 1000 acre dog park. They had the best time!! We found another great water spot that we will definitely return to. We met a new friend and saw a dog lady who had a ton of dogs. Busy busy.
And Bella is spending some time at our house tonight which goon thinks is awesome. They love each other and goon acts like she is so cool its cute.

Cleaning days are no fun

Cleaning is no fun for anyone. Dallas is so bored right now!! Well I wouldn't say goon had a bad day. She loves going through closets and bins with me and exploring new spaces to lay down. We found the window perch again and goon loves it. She does think the plastic holders are for biting so unfortunately at some point she will learn that when she bites through those plastic cords she will fall.
Goon also scared me last night in not using her litter box at all and I of course was worried and thought about taking her to the vet. Well she decided that going to church and the store was too long to leave her at the house and she wanted to send me a message that she will not be left alone without consequences...so she used a kitchen bag as her bathroom. I was soo mad!!! She has such a little attitude sometimes! Good news is Dustin and I are looking into a small travel trailer so we can take both goon and monster on trips with us and leave them in the air conditioned or heated trailer while we go into towns or on hikes where dogs aren't allowed. So goon will get to travel and explore with us and won't be left home anymore.
