Pumpkins!

Monster is carving his/my pumpkin. He got bored and started pushing the pumpkins around and then picked the white one up in his mouth and wanted to play. We played like it was the soccer ball for a while and then he got bored went into the living room. He gets up goes to the kit hen then runs into the living room with the pumpkin in his mouth super cute. And then started carving and is still working hard on it. Goon doesn't know what is happening but thinks her brother is crazy flinging the pieces around.
Goon bug was super lovey this morning after being left in the house for a portion of the day while we ran around so adjusting when Dustin goes to work may take a while.

Another fall day

Another pretty fall day outside. 70 and sunny all day. The leaves are nothing like the fall colors in nc but the weather makes up for it with the cool air and lack of humidity.

Zombie run

I had a race to work today so we are going on our quick and late walk to let monster out of the house.
Dustins knee is looking good and he has a follow up apt on the 20th.

Angels rest hike

Dallas and I went out for a hike with our new active friend Liz and her baby Jude. Her husband travels during the week and she likes to hike and run so monster and I have opportunities to hang out.
We hiked angels rest today which was not fun. Great pretty views and really close by but steep uphill, really rocky and when we turned around and headed back the strap decline down was worse than the intense uphill. Dallas did well and watched over Jude on the way home to be sure he was safe and happy.
And goon vas some new electric bugs that roam around the kitchen floor and she just watches until they go out of site then sprints after them and batts them. Now she cries in the morning then runs to the bugs and bats them so we will turn them on for her.

Bell bell

I took Dallas for my Wednesday morning run and it was cool rainy and so pretty outside. He definitely does better running in the cooler fall weather. He accomplished a 5 mile trail run next to Bella and had fun. We have Bella for the day as her mom has to be in Portland for the rest of the day and Bella would have been outside and we thought she would have more fun being warm and hanging out with the Hoffman's .

Snuggle bug day

Nanny dad is sick today so I get a sick day to love my monsters. They are both so excited to have their mom home. Monster has been extra snuggly.

Busy is the new normal

Busy seems to be my new normal these days. I had another busy weekend and with Dustin being down and out I had double duty of animals Dustin and making food to get him through the day. Dustin was definitely feeling the ache of his knee yesterday and started taking meds and iced more heavily.
In the mean time Dallas or a bunch of short and fast walks in the park during my lunch breaks. Goon bug let me know of her unhappy feelings yesterday while she peed in front of me right next to her litter box!!! She is so bad these days!
I took Dallas to the dog park yesterday for an hour run around with suka which he loved and was happy about. He tried to go to work with ne today and was up this morning letting me know I wasn't leaving without him.
